The Talent Development & Employee Engagement Partner reporting to the Senior Director of Talent Development & Employee Experience/Engagement on the HR team is a highly visible position which significantly impact all our leaders and employees. The Talent Development & Employee Engagement Partner will own, lead, program/project manage, design, deliver/implement and measure programs, projects, and initiatives across various work groups. This role will support Revenue and Employee Growth initiatives including Culture Transformation, Leadership Development, Mentorship, Employee Engagement, Sales Enablement, Companywide New Hire Onboarding Programs, and/or other needed Talent Development and Training programs.

The Talent Development & Employee Engagement Partner will also be responsible for performance consulting with Executives, Senior and Field/Regional Leaders, HR, Corporate Communications, Sales, Operations, Network, Finance, IT, Marketing, Product Management, and other internal clients to uncover Talent Development and Employee Experience/Engagement needs, skill and knowledge gaps, and projects. The position is remote and requires an average of 10-25% domestic travel to attend and/or lead meetings, events, programs, etc.

Responsibilities

As a Talent Development & Employee Engagement Partner, you will be responsible for owning assigned and prioritized Talent Development, Culture, and Employee Experience and Engagement programs. Based on the Talent Development & Employee Engagement team's resources and capabilities, the Senior Director will prioritize with C-Level Executives and Functional Leaders the following objectives. This Talent Development & Employee Engagement Partner will own, lead, project manage, design, deliver/implement, and measure some of these programs and initiatives based on their experience and strengths in these areas.

  • Conduct performance consulting and evaluate existing Talent Development and Engagement initiatives for assigned/owned clients with Senior Leaders and Department Heads, SMEs (i.e., subject matter experts) and/or partners to identify skill/knowledge gaps and best practices, develop learning initiatives, translate business goals and objectives, and determine appropriate Talent Development and/or Employee Engagement solutions (e.g., Culture Transformation, Leadership Development, Employee Development, Sales Enablement and Technical Training and Employee Engagement programs.
  • Design, develop and maintain Talent Development and Engagement programs, learning plans and/or career paths from conception to implementation/delivery with SMEs and/or Leadership feedback and support using the ADDIE and SAM methodologies. Assigned programs and/or initiatives will be delivered effectively through proper facilitation, engagement and coaching/feedback principles and models - regardless of modality (i.e., classroom, web-based/virtual instruction or online eLearning narration).
  • Measure all appropriate and prioritized Talent Development and Employee Experience/Engagement programs and establish metrics for success collecting Level 0 data; utilizing Kirkpatrick's Levels 1-4 (as appropriate); and potentially using Phillips' ROI (i.e., Level 5) model on the top 1-2 training programs long term. Goals are to improve Employee and Leadership Development, Companywide Onboarding, Sales Enablement, other Training Skills and Knowledge, Cultural Awareness, and/or Employee Experience and Engagement aligned with the organization's business objectives and long-term growth plans.
  • Effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects and programs in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Adhere to the company's Talent Development & Employee Experience/Engagement budget, policies, etc. ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10+ years of Talent Development, Training, Sales Enablement, Leadership Development, Employee Experience and/or Engagement experience, with at least 7 years of designing and implementing Talent Development, Training, Sales Enablement, Leadership Development, and/or Employee Experience/Engagement programs, processes, and procedures; and measuring and reporting on the effectiveness of programs in a large nationwide or global company.
  • Strong knowledge of Talent Development, Training, Adult Learning, Performance Management, and/or Employee Experience/Engagement best practices, programs, tools, methodologies (i.e., ADDIE, SAM, etc.), and Learning/Content Management Systems (e.g., LMS, CMS or LCMS).
  • Requires excellent verbal, written and computer desktop publishing and graphic design skills in all Microsoft Office Services including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc. and Adobe Acrobat Professional, SnagIt and other software as needed. Strong project management skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Minimum 7 years of training delivery experience using distance learning tools like Microsoft Teams, Zoom and extensive knowledge of Adult Learning theories and models necessary for virtual ILT curriculum development is required. Highly desired skills include design and video/audio editing skills in Articulate Storyline 360 or Rise 360, and/or Camtasia.
  • Effective communication, coaching, leadership, influencing, negotiation, time management, and organizational skills; flexibility to work on a small team; and the ability to engage and inspire employees at all levels.
  • Passion for Talent Development, Training, Employee Experience/Engagement, and Culture programs, and driving a Company Culture of continuous improvement and growth.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Telecommunications, Networking, Fiber, Information Security, and Managed IT, Security and/or Cloud Services experience is required.
  • For Sales Enablement programs and projects, B2B Sales including Inside Sales, SMB, Mid-Market, Account Management, Enterprise, Public Sector, Carrier, and/or other Sales work group experience in the Telecom, Fiber, and/or Managed IT/Security/Cloud Services industry is required.
  • This position is remote and requires an average of 10-25% domestic travel to lead and/or attend meetings, events, etc.

Salary

Pay range (commensurate with skills and experience): $89,019 - $134,926
