Summary

Position Summary

The Behavioral Tech I contribute to the achievement of quality care and patient outcomes by maintaining a safe and therapeutic milieu. To accomplish this goal, the Behavioral Tech I provide care and emotional support to patients as assigned. The Behavioral Tech I may also assist with the collection and documentation of data and, in cooperation with the treatment team members, implement individualized treatment plans.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: High School diploma preferred. A Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field is preferred.
2. License/Certifications: N/A
3. Experience: 1+ years of experience and/or coursework in a social service-related field preferred.
4. Demonstrates a proficiency in all aspects at the entry level position.
5. Must be able to annually demonstrate competency in seclusion and restraint training.
