Job Overview

Responsible, within an assigned geographic territory, for the sales of electrical connectors, enclosure products, installation tooling and accessory products to distributors, end users and contractors, primarily in the Construction and Industrial Electrical, OEM, Contractor, and Renewable markets. Additionally responsible for product demonstration and training and working with Engineers and Consultants in furthering the specifications of Burndy products, Quazite, ThermOweld, and other Hubbell brand products.

Territory covers St Louis, MO, Eastern MO and Southern Illinois. Candidate must be located in St Louis area

A Day In The Life


  • Travelthroughout assigned territory to service existing customers with overall sales support, training and certification classes.



  • Become able to proficiently articulate the features, advantages and benefits of our products.



  • Monitor and follow up on provided vertical market leads.



  • Provideinformation on pricing, credit terms and other term conditions of sales.



  • Provide estimateddate of delivery to customers, based on knowledge of delivery schedules and working with internal customer service, pricing, and product management teams.



  • Become a known and trusted resource for the products we represent within thedefined territory to both internal and external customers.



  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and desire to continually succeed in performing job duties.



  • Regularly utilize Salesforce.com.



  • Preparereports monthly on business conditions, win/loss opportunities, and sales achievements relative to assignments and quotas.



  • Workwithin assigned expense budget.



What will help you thrive in this role?

  • College degree required and four(+) years of related Industry sales experience/ or a High School diploma with six(+) years of related Industry sales experience.

    * Contractor sales experience is a plus.

    * Industry experience required.

    * MS Office proficient.

    * Excellent communication/presentation skills.
  • Have strong Microsoft Office, e-mail and other PC application skills along with proficiency in Power BI and Salesforce.com.
