The Opportunity:

Are you a trainer who is passionate about developing differentiated instruction and delivering it in exciting ways? You know that learning styles vary, and you thrive in helping Soldiers grasp new information. Bring your passion for developing and delivering a diverse package of training to our team.

As a trainer on our team, you'll help provide simulations training on the Warrior Skills Trainer (WST) system, and other virtual simulation systems, for Soldiers who are getting ready to impact real-world missions and operations. You'll expand your technical expertise and industry knowledge and collaborate to devise creative solutions for mission-critical problems. You'll apply your knowledge and skills to create a holistic training pathway for individual and crew weapons platforms. You'll deliver simulation scenarios that help train the Soldiers while meeting the commander's training requirements. You'll also collaborate with other simulation departments to shape the capabilities you offer.

You Have:

  • 8+ years of experience with combined U.S. Army, U.S. Army Reserve, or U.S. Army National Guard

  • Knowledge of two or more of the following weapon systems: M16 or M4 rifle, M17 or M18 pistol, M240, M249, M2, and MK19 Crew Served Weapons and ring mounted operations

  • Knowledge of Table II Crew Served Weapons Table for Platform Gunnery

  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to support the U.S. Army Reserve

  • Secret clearance

  • HS diploma or GED

  • Ability to obtain Association for Talent Development (ATD) Master Trainer Certification within one year start date

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with conducting training for the integration of simulation systems

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

  • Knowledge of Table II qualifications for Individual Weapons Assigned

  • Knowledge of mounted maneuver operations

  • Knowledge of EST 2000 or EST 3000

  • Knowledge of VBS3 system

  • U.S. Army Marksmanship Master Trainer Course (MMTC) taught by the U.S. Army Maneuver Center of Excellence

  • Senior Gunner Course or higher in any U.S. Army component

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $51,700.00 to $106,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
