Job Title: Senior Cloud Security Engineer Location: Nashville, TN (On-site) Salary: Up to $115,000/year Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Security Engineer to join our team in Nashville, TN. This is an on-site position offering a competitive salary of up to $115,000/year. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT security with at least 3 years of experience, and at least 1 year of experience working with cloud technologies. While our primary cloud provider is Google Cloud, experience with any cloud platform is acceptable. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage robust security architectures for our cloud environments. Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement. Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Monitor and respond to security incidents, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into all stages of the software development lifecycle. Stay current with emerging security threats and technologies, providing recommendations for enhancements. Utilize CNAPP (Cloud-Native Application Protection Platform) tools to enhance the security posture of cloud applications and infrastructure (nice to have). Provide mentorship and guidance to junior security team members. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT security. At least 1 year of hands-on experience with cloud technologies (Google Cloud preferred, but AWS or Azure experience is also acceptable). Strong understanding of security principles, protocols, and technologies. Experience with security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS. Proficiency in conducting security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability management. Familiarity with CNAPP tools and their application in securing cloud environments (nice to have). Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
