The Opportunity

We are looking for a Sr. Marketing Brand Manager. The position reports to the Brand Director within our B2B Commercial Tire Division. This is an opportunity for someone with strategic Brand & Go To Market Management experience to join our team! Based in Greenville, SC and relocation assistance is provided.

Job Description

At Michelin, the Sr. Brand Manager (SBM) owns and is accountable for the segment/portfolio financial performance and results versus targets ($1B+ Business). The SBM leads a cross-functional team to build and implement marketing and communication strategies for Michelin truck and trailer tires across North America. This role will work closely with global and regional teams to understand customer behavior and drive strategies that increase brand value, awareness, market share, and profitability for their portfolio.

The SBM owns their portfolio and runs it by steering theSAVEmarketing model. SAVE =Solution (Product/ Services),Access (Distribution),Value (Pricing) andEngagement (Promotion/ Communication). The SBM leads every aspect of their portfolio's success to achieve profitable growth.

What you'll do:

Data-Driven Industry Expertise

  • Collaborates with insights team to identify key customer/end user trends.

  • Identifies research needs, commissions studies, and uses outputs.

Strategic Marketing Planning & Activation

  • Translates brand strategies into commercial Go-To-Market (GTM) plans.

  • Defines brand positioning, proof points, and segmentation.

  • Leads campaign execution with internal and external teams.

  • Ensures high-quality consumer-facing content and program execution.

Brand Leadership & People Development

  • Presents marketing strategy and results to leadership.

  • Coaches and provides feedback for team development.

New Product Launch & Operational Leadership

  • Owns marketing GTM process for new launches.

  • Sets manufacturing launch priorities and collaborates with cross functional teams.

Segment Profitability Management

  • Translates marketing strategy into operational plans.

  • Performs profitability analyses and makes recommendations.

  • Collaborates on pricing performance and demand forecasting.

  • Evaluates marketing initiatives' impact on organization's performance.

What you'll bring:
  • BS/BA degree required. Strong preference for an MBA.

  • Proven success with 7-10 years of professional experience. Experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry is advantageous.

  • Data-based marketing, communication, and sales strategy development, including creation, deployment, and measurement of plans.

  • Solid understanding of marketing metrics and content creation/ management.

  • Ability to use data and insights, set direction, bring cross-functional stakeholders together, and drive impact.

  • Focus on results and able to rapidly adapt, prioritize and make decisions based on changing needs or situations.

  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally.

  • Demonstrates balance between daily operations and strategy.

  • Ability to build trust and develop empowered teams.
