Medical Assistant (Part time)

St. Ann's Community is currently looking for a part time medical assistant for the St. Ann's Podiatry department located at the St. Ann's Home located on our Irondequoit campus. The primary purpose of this position is to perform various office and clinical duties to keep out practice running efficiently and serve as an integral part of operations, working collaboratively with the podiatrist and program director.

St. Ann's Community Offers:



  • Part time position (15hrs/wk.)
  • $16/hr. - $20.15/hr.

Job Description:




  • Triage and process messages and provide feedback and answers to patient/physician; greet patients upon arrival
  • Register patients into EMR
  • Record patient information, such as vital signs and pertinent information
  • Stock and set up rooms for podiatrist
  • Cleans room in between patient appointments
  • Assists with maintain medical inventory and placing orders for new materials
  • Enlist interpreter services as indicated
  • Send labs as indicated
  • Sterilization of medial instruments
  • Fosters positive relationship between the clinic and any collaborating entities, both internally and externally



Candidate Requirements:



  • Proficient in entering information on computer programs
  • Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette
  • Bilingual a plus++
  • Ability to work on Electronic Medical Records
  • High level of professionalism
