    POSITION TITLE: District Receptionist

    REPORTS TO: Director of Business Services

    Position Summary:

    The job of District Receptionist is to provide support to the District Office; communicating information to staff and the public; providing information and/or direction as may be requested.

    .

    Essential Functions

    • Greets individuals entering the building for the purpose of responding to inquiries; and/or directing individuals to appropriate locations.

    • Provides access control to the District Office during business hours.

    • Inputs data into various software systems for the purpose of ensuring accuracy of data.

    • Performs other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit pertaining to District 219.

    • Updates records for the purpose of documenting activities and/or conveying information.

    • Pick up hospitality for Board/Administrative meetings

    • Ensures the copiers, kitchen and business office supplies are fully stocked each morning.

    • Performs varies projects as instructed by business administrations


    Job Requirements: Minimum Qualifications

    Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

    SKILLS are required to perform multiple tasks with a potential need to upgrade skills in order to meet changing job conditions. Specific skill-based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: operating standard office equipment including pertinent software applications.

    Responsibilities include: working under limited supervision using standardized practices and/or methods. There is a continual opportunity to impact the organization's services.

    Working Environment

    The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 80% sitting, 10% walking, and 10% standing. The job is performed under conditions with some exposure to risk of injury and/or illness.

    Experience

    Job related experience is required.

    Education

    Targeted, job related education with study in job-related area.

    Equivalency

    Equivalent experience in job related field.
