RECOVERY COACH The City of Worcester seeks qualified applicants for a Recovery Coach in the Department of Health and Human Services. Under the direction of the Commissioner of Health and Human Services, the Recovery Coach will connect with individuals from the community who are currently struggling with Substance Use Disorder (SUD). The Recovery Coach will provide this population services that include efforts to encourage attendance and participation in recovery groups, initial assessment and referral, assistance with access to treatment, rapid identification of treatment and care needs, peer counseling and support, relapse prevention/intervention, patient tracking, ongoing patient support, and facilitation of communication across systems of care. This is a part-time position, budgeted at 19 hours per week. Bilingual and multilingual applicants are encouraged to apply. ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS:

SALARY: $24.79 per hour, part-time, non-benefitted.
