Position Summary:
Dr. Jacob Chakareski is seeking a postdoctoral position at the intersection of vision, virtual reality, and generative AI at the Department of Informatics.

Essential Functions:
- The candidate will carry out research at the intersection of generative AI and virtual reality, with application in low vision rehab.
- The candidate is expected to propose and pursue additional ideas together with the PI, involve in drafting research proposals, pursue publications based on their work, etc.

Prerequisite Qualifications:
- Ph.D Degree and/or approved thesis in Informatics and/or related field.
- At the university's discretion, the education and experience
prerequisites may be exempted where the candidate can demonstrate to the
satisfaction of the university, an equivalent combination of education and
experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.
