Compensation: $480+ /credit hr (Pay will transition to $32 /hr on Fall 2024) Worksite Location: South Campus and/or Goddard HS Overview / Job Summary: The Adjunct Faculty Instructor provides subject matter expertise in his/her area of expertise to students enrolled in the Veterinary Nursing program. Instruction may include classroom lecture, facilitating group discussion and projects, and/or laboratory instruction. Instruction may include: teaching courses, adhering to lesson plans, meeting course objectives, beginning and ending courses on time as scheduled, adhering to faculty ethical and professional behaviors, and other duties at the discretion of the Program Director or Dean of Health Sciences Your day-to-day responsibilities will vary, but are not limited to:
The position involves fostering positive relationships with Industry Advocate Team (IAT) members, coordinating guest speaker schedules, and facilitating job placements and equipment donations. Additionally, active participation in student recruitment and retention efforts, including high school visits, college events, and tours, is required. Responsibilities also include procurement and upkeep of instructional equipment to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
