Regular Part-Time, Non-Exempt

$12 per hour

Number of positions available: 1

Actively hiring for Summer 2024 (with eligibility to stay employed beyond Summer)

  • Students are eligible to work up to 40 hours/week during the summer, based on departmental needs. Preference given to students eligible to work a minimum of 20hrs/week.
  • Ability to commit a minimum of 8hrs/week during the school year, with a preference of 10-12hrs/week.

Are you a K-State student interested in a flexible work schedule, competitive pay, and supporting the University? The Gift Planning Assistant - Student provides administrative and project support to the team.

Administrative Support

Provide general back-up and clerical assistance for the Gift Planning team. Perform work related errands and/or deliveries internally or externally. Prepare reports. Assist with document imaging. Data entry and record updates.

Gift Planning Support

Assist with estate distribution activities including trust and will inventories, attorney follow-up, spreadsheet tracking. Assist with department related marketing efforts.

Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent and currently enrolled at Kansas State University
  • Experience in Microsoft Office, primarily in Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Strong customer service, attention to detail, and prioritize projects to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, and comfortable making phone calls to speak with customers. Familiarity and able to create/send business correspondence upon request
  • A valid motor vehicle operator's license and acceptable driving record
