Sr. Digital Product Manager - Remote

If you have a passion for all things digital read on. We are looking for a well-rounded digital guru with experience leading strategy and execution in the creation of an omni-channel user experience. The Sr. Digital Manager role is responsible for creating the ideal prospect acquisition experience that meets both user and business needs. This position requires collaboration with key business stakeholders, digital product owners & analysts, content authors and UX managers to develop and maintain a multi-year roadmap and the associated business cases that justify investment. By focusing on a simplified Medicare shopping experience, you will bring a consumer orientated perspective to the overall digital experience and vision, while building the trust with our customers and driving growth across digital engagements.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Develop and execute a human centered product roadmap to enhance existing, or develop new, user experiences
  • Work with other organizational leaders (e.g. Design, Content, UX and Development) to develop and communicate a comprehensive product vision and roadmap in support of strategic business initiatives
  • Collaborate with applicable business partners and stakeholders to conduct market research and analysis that informs and validates the product strategy
  • Engage with external Agency and internal development partners to ensure the product strategy and vision is infused into all our projects at the beginning and executed through to the end of the project
  • Utilize influencing skills to build a collaborative culture and foster relationships across the Government Programs digital team and broader UHC digital organizations
  • Conduct competitive analysis and UX assessments of digital experiences both inside and outside the Medicare industry, identifying gaps and emerging opportunities for Government Programs Digital
  • Develop various communication elements to socialize/evangelize/educate stakeholders on Product strategies and opportunities
  • Bring passion and curiosity to both identifying key decisioning experiences and needs and simplifying the process for choosing the Medicare coverage that will improve our customers lives
  • Effectively communicate product plans and related roadmaps to Digital Product teams, Content Authors and Developers utilizing common UX tools

Required Qualifications:



  • 5+ years of Digital Product experience using Agile methodology
  • Experience developing a multi-year digital product roadmap based on consumer & business needs
  • Experience developing human centered experiences preferably in e-Commerce
  • Experience with analytics tools (i.e. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.)
  • Experience managing agency relationships relative to UX and related activities
  • Understanding of digital marketing and user experience best practices
  • Understanding of content management systems (i.e. Adobe Experience Manager, Sitecore, etc.)
  • Understanding of direct-to-consumer ("DTC") digital prospect acquisition and measurement
  • Ability to understand and optimize the user experience funnel, leveraging testing and personalization tools (i.e. Adobe Target, etc.)



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Health care experience or experience in other interactive and digital industries such as retail and financial services or digital agency
  • Experience with Agile software development processes. Formal experience with one or more recognized Agile methodologies (Scrum, XP, etc.) or toolsets (VersionOne, Rally, etc.)
  • Experience working successfully in a large, matrixed organization
  • Experience coordinating priorities and contributions of a network of stakeholders from across a large, diverse organization
  • Experience delivering Web experiences that meet user needs based on usability research, UX design and information architecture principles, and product management methodologies
  • Experience working collaboratively at all levels and across business lines using influencing skills
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships to establish trust and credibility across a matrixed, cross-functional team
  • Proven solid communication skills, including written, spoken, and presentation communications
