Position Overview

Calling All Spreadsheet Superheroes! At Green Bay Packaging, we're not just about credits and debits; we're about adding fun to the funds! We're a team of financial wizards, spreadsheet superheroes, and ledger lovers who make the magic happen behind the scenes. We're on the lookout for a Credit Assistant Intern who's ready to don their cape and dive into the thrilling world of credit management. Your responsibilities will include updating customer credit files, maintaining accurate customer information, and assisting credit personnel with various tasks.



Responsibilities

    Update active customer files to keep customer and credit information current and relevant
  • Assist credit personnel to retrieve credit reports from various reporting agencies and perform background research on new and existing customers.
  • Aid in resolving unauthorized deductions from payments
  • Provide cash application personnel with documentation as needed
  • Assisting in the research of unapplied cash payments
  • Using automated software, process new account credit applications, verifying that applications are within department guidelines.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent, required
  • Analytical ability
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Experience in Microsoft Office 365
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work within a team environment
