Director Prospect Development and Advancement Services College of the Holy Cross Description The College of the Holy Cross seeks a seasoned, articulate, savvy advancement professional with superior management, technical, organizational and verbal and written communications skills for the position of Director of Prospect Development and Advancement Services. Reporting to the Vice President for Advancement and joining a talented team preparing for the College's largest comprehensive campaign, the Director of Prospect Development and Advancement Services contributes strategies and leadership to help reach campaign and fundraising goals by managing an information, data processing, and intelligence infrastructure which supports a robust culture of prospect development and data-driven decision making, for the coming campaign and the advancement division. Responsibilities include supervision and strategic leadership for the Advancement Services and Prospect Development teams, supervision of the CRM Instructional Design and Training Specialist, as well as overall guidance for advancement reporting, data management, analytics, predictive modeling and portfolio management. In collaboration with other members of the division, the director will secure the ongoing success of advancement in its mission to maximize philanthropy for Holy Cross and will shape operations strategies that appropriately incorporate donor perspective. Bachelor's degree is required. Experience: The successful candidate will have prospect development and research experience, some advancement operations and CRM technical systems experience, as well as knowledge and appreciation of philanthropy and fundraising in a higher education environment. A minimum of 5+ years of work experience in non-profit management (or equivalent) is required, with strong preference for campaign experience in higher education.
