Minimum Qualifications

Requires at least a baccalaureate degree in the field. Please contact your Human Resources office for an evaluation of education/experience in lieu of the required minimum qualifications.

Master's degree preferred.
Position Summary
This position is responsible for overseeing recruiting operations and assisting the women's basketball head coach with administrative duties while ensuring compliance with NCAA, SEC, and institutional rules and regulations. Will work independently as well as collaboratively to support the competitive success of the team.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret NCAA, SEC, and institutional rules and regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from individuals, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only a limited standardization exist.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding student athlete records and information.

Recruiting:
Oversee recruiting functions including, but not limited to the following:

  • Responsible for implementing and executing recruiting communication, organizing recruiting meetings, logs, and recruiting calendar.
  • Creation, organization, and distribution of graphics and mail-outs related to recruiting.
  • Serve as liaison to Sports Communications/Social Media/Creative Services.
  • Responsible for the organization and execution of official and unofficial visits to the University of Georgia.
  • Coordinate all aspects of recruiting of prospective student-athletes: Delegate responsibilities as needed for forms, bios, itineraries, and photoshoots.
  • Implement plans for campus tours, local transportation, entertainment, and other functions.
  • Maintain data entry into recruiting software.
  • Assist in all other areas as needed.

Duties/Responsibilities
Administrative & Basketball Gameday

  • Manage game day logistics for visiting prospective student-athletes.
  • Meet and greets; provide tours; make notebooks and map schedules.
  • Serves as Ticket Office Liaison to manage and coordinate tickets for high school and team tickets at home games.
  • Breakdown of practice and game day film; post game content for recruits.
  • Assist with stats/charts in practice and games.
  • Create daily call lists for coaches.
  • Database oversight: Just Play and Arms.

Camps & Clinics

  • Oversight for summer camps, including, but not limited to completing camps and clinics program registration, Third-Party requests, adhering to Programs Serving Minors policies, tracking attendance and training for all staff and attendees.
  • Ensure compliance of all NCAA rules and regulations as they pertain to camps and clinics.
