Job Description

Position Summary

Air Industries, A PCC Company is looking for a full-time System Administrator for our staff. The right candidate will have 5 or more years' experience providing enterprise-level support preferably in a manufacturing environment, and possess technical certifications from Microsoft, Juniper, Cisco, or CompTIA. If you are an experienced System Administrator looking for new challenges in a fast-paced aerospace environment, this role is for you.

Essential functions

  • Provide frequent Tier I through III support for Office 365 and various manufacturing applications, ERP software, VPN and mobile devices.
  • Provide escalated support for other technical staff.
  • Develop, document, and review technical procedures and standards.
  • Establish best practices for managing systems and services.
  • Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades & patches on servers and workstations.
  • Perform regular reconciliation of endpoint security applications.
  • Remediate critical vulnerabilities as identified by exposure management software.
  • Maintain an accurate IT asset inventory including additions, changes, and disposal of equipment.
  • Administer user account access in accordance with Sarbanes Oxley requirements.
  • Utilize helpdesk ticketing system for approval workflows and documenting problem resolution.
  • Employee is expected to perform other duties as directed.

Experience, Education & Qualifications

  • 5+ years work experience with Microsoft operating systems in a similar environment including Windows 10 and Windows Server 2016 or later, preferably using Microsoft System Center.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred in a related field or recognized qualifications in Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline; equivalent experience and/or current certifications acceptable substitutes.
  • Experience leading site-based projects with cross-functional teams.
  • Juniper or Cisco networking experience a plus.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.
  • Strong team player with excellent written and communications skills.
  • Availability to work flexible schedule including weekends on a pre-scheduled basis or at short notice for emergency situations.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $25.50 to $38.25 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter . Employees will receive 80 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.
This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)). To be qualified to work in this facility, a successful applicant must be a U.S. Person, as defined in those regulations, and able to supply evidence of that qualification prior to starting work or be authorized to receive controlled information under a specific license or permission from the relevant government agency.
