Has knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, which is appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served. May assume Charge responsibility for assigned personnel and activities as required or directed. SLH-ICU/SICU is part of a Level II Trauma center and is comprised of 24 beds. Our Critical Care Unit provides exceptional care to a multitude of critically ill patients. This includes hemodynamically unstable patients of varying diagnoses including, but not limited to: acute respiratory failure, acute MI with and without intervention, cardiogenic shock, heart blocks, life threatening arrhythmias, sepsis/septic shock, renal failure, DKA, acute CVA, hypertensive crisis, acute GI bleed, multiple trauma, multi-system organ failure and major surgical cases including vascular and neurosurgical services. Location: St. Luke's Hospital - New Bedford, MA Hours: 32 hours (Part Time with Benefits) Shift: DAY/EVE, (2) 7:00am-7:30pm and (1) 3:00pm-11:30pm with weekend & holiday rotations
