PMO Analyst, Junior

The Opportunity:

As a PMO Analyst, you know the complexities of supporting a project from concept to completion. Many programs require a significant investment of limited resources, and it's imperative to keep the project on a productive path. That's why we need you, a PMO Analyst who can help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication.

On our team, you'll implement and maintain organizational programs in support of building next gen software and tools, while developing sustainable business processes to support federal clients. You'll work with program leadership to monitor cost, schedule, and performance of multiple projects, use tools MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint, and perform daily interactions with customers.

The real impact of project management comes from communication to ensure the program achieves its goals and meets our quality standards. You'll create status updates, risk analyses, executive briefings, and make recommendations for improvement to program leadership. You Have:

  • Experience with working in a project management role or in program management offices

  • Experience with working in a multi-stakeholder, technical, and matrixed organizational environment

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel

  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, including resolution of issues to the satisfaction of clients while maintaining business value

  • Ability to assess information critically, communicate priority findings to teams,and manage client and team relationships successfully

  • Ability to be flexible, show initiative and innovation, and deal with ambiguous and fast-paced situations

  • Bachelor's degree required

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with the development and maintenance of process assets, including policies, plans, procedures, templates, checklists, and quick reference guides and training

  • Experience with leading technical efforts in technical planning, requirements definition, and configuration or release management support

  • Ability to oversee multiple simultaneous projects and teams to meet project milestones, schedules, and scope

  • Possession of excellent data-gathering, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • PMP Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $47,000.00 to $96,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
