"I can succeed as a Solutions Engineer level III at Capital Group." As a Solutions Engineer level III you'll build, maintain, and refine high-performance, scalable systems through your collaboration in development, infrastructure, and product discussions from conception to completion. You will make recommendations on how to imagine, develop and launch solutions with transformative power. You will write complex Python code, utilizing the latest AWS technologies, against a modern data lake on a high-profile application whose data is used to make intelligent investment decisions. From digital and cloud solutions to original and developing technology products and services, you will address challenges at their core. You will develop products, services, and experiences that disrupt markets, generate value, and positively impact millions of lives. "I am the person Capital Group is looking for." You have a bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field. You have at least 5 years of software engineering experience with expertise in: Python, SQL, data concepts, database design, Spark, and AWS. You're thoughtful in your approach to software engineering practices. You enable a future-ready, high-quality, and responsive code base. Your agile mindset and passion for designing product user experiences enable rapid business growth. You have a foundation of technical ability, business acumen, leadership skills, and a desire to provide knowledge transfer. You have technology vendor management experience. You've provided technical direction, guidance, and oversight of vendor solutions and integrations. You adapt programming literacy to match the shifting demands of different outcomes and technologies. You have a passion for driving change and innovation. You introduce innovative ideas that push boundaries and challenge our culture when needed. You apply knowledge of composable architectures, serverless computing and cloud native technologies when developing solutions. Financial industry experience a plus. Southern California Base Salary Range: $116,974-$187,158 In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
