INTERNSHIP - SOLIDWORKS User Success Engineer

Role Description & Responsibilities

Our Dassault Systemes SOLIDWORKS User Success Team is excited to announce new positions available in our Waltham, MA and Woodland Hills, CA offices! We are seeking motivated students to join us full-time throughout the summer and part-time during the fall and winter seasons.

You will be part of a critical support team organization who is helping our customers to drive the success of their businesses taking full advantage of the 3DEXPERIENCE SOLIDWORKS software. In this role, you will:



  • Explore how SOLIDWORKS is used in various industries, by helping to investigate actual customer cases.
  • Understand the software release cycle, by participating in multiple stages of it and interacting with various involved parties.
  • Contribute fresh ideas to improve existing customer support processes and content.
  • Validate your SOLIDWORKS modeling skills with opportunities to take SOLIDWORKS certification exams.
  • Collaborate with our team in the context of SOLIDWORKS 2025 Beta analyzing and reporting to the developing team the software defects identified by the Beta testers
  • Contribute to the organizing of the PEP Talks (series of webinars to increase our resellers technical knowledge
  • Help the Worldwide Technical Support Team with the Knowledgebase maintenance and more in general with the Q&A management

Qualification

  • Actively enrolled in a Bachelor's and Master Degree in in Engineering or equivalent discipline
  • Basic understanding of a CAD software/basic experience in the use of SolidWorks
  • Technical writing skills
  • Technical aptitude for problem solving
  • Technical aptitude for testing and identify issues within a software
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment
  • Effective Communication
  • Time and Priority Management
  • Customer Focus
  • Motivations/Interests relevant for the CAD industry
