CQI Specialist/ Clinician

Description

This hybrid role combines agency wide CQI activities with clinical responsibilities. This role promotes collaboration between support teams and treatment teams, enables the CQI department to more quickly identify and correct process and improvement projects, and to more effectively identify and address challenges and needs of the treatment teams.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for supporting agency wide CQI activities and processes; continually work to improve and strengthen CQI processes throughout the agency; attend to priority initiatives and action plans as assigned.
  • Create CQI quarterly reports on critical incidents, client demographics, and other topics identified by the clinical committee.
  • Lead agency in records management and data quality by developing processes related to storage of legacy files; develop and streamline processes for external file requests.
  • Assist Director of Quality Management in system thinking and make recommendations re: implementation of work systems to increase efficiency, enhance understanding, improve workflow and/or other CQI focused outcomes.
  • Provide intensive home and community-based therapy to children who are involved or are at risk of involvement in the child welfare and juvenile justice systems.
  • Work collaboratively with an integrated team of caseworkers, behavioral assistants and other clinicians to develop, review and evaluate treatment goals, provide resources, advocacy, perform routine assessments and build relationships with clients and families.
  • Provide evidence-based counseling techniques through a trauma informed lens
  • Create in-depth case studies combining CQI analysis and clinical information at the request of clinical supervisors and directors.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • * Master's degree from an accredited school in social work - Required.
  • * LCSW/LICSW/LMHC - Preferred
  • * Valid driver's license and registered/inspected vehicle - Required.
  • * Bilingual; English, Spanish, Portuguese, Creole - Preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • * 2-4 years' experience in human services, healthcare, and other non-profit agencies.
  • * Demonstrates a safe, strengths-based approach while continuously using everyday behavior opportunities to teach, guide, and support youth and families with their goals and challenges to remain in the home and in their communities.
  • * Capacity for behavior management utilizing counseling techniques, program structure, guidelines and crisis intervention and to use metrics to ensure accountability.
  • * Strong crisis management, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, particularly when working with youth of all ages.
  • * Managed in-home and community strengths-based services to clients and families.
  • * Skilled in building relationships with internal team, stakeholders, clients and families, schools, law enforcement and other community resources

Salary Description $53,000-$63,000
