We are looking for a motivated person to work part time at the Texas Department of Transportation in Waller, TX with the goal of Keeping building in clean and orderly condition. The hours are 10am-2pm, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Essential Duties and/or Responsibilities: Service, clean, and supply restrooms. Gather and empty trash. Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them. Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures. Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications. Communicate needs for cleaning supplies. Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees. Clean and polish furniture and fixtures. Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment. Due to the nature of our program, persons with a disability will be considered first.
