IT SCM System Integration Specialist

Arconic is currently in search of IT SCM System Integration Specialist to join our Global Rolled Products (GRP) Team in Bettendorf, IA.

Primary Responsibilities



  • Analyze, enhance, and support business processes and integrations
  • Collaborate and work with Integration Lead and other IT peers to problem solve integration issues
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the business processes and integrations in their area(s) of assignment and a general understanding of the GRP business
  • Initiate, identify and implement system / process improvements to support business objectives
  • Effectively utilize project methodology and tools to deliver solutions and communicate status
  • Operate within and influence IS standards and promote adherence within the IS organization
  • Conduct self-assessments ensuring compliance with corporate and Business Unit (BU) IT policies
  • Adopt / lead business process standardization through systems implementations
  • Document new processes, maintain existing knowledge base, and process documentations
  • Pursue continuous learning, consistent with evolving job requirements and technology / organizational changes


Basic Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 3 years of IT experience working with and/or supporting Manufacturing/Supply Chain system/s
  • Be able to analyze, understand, clearly document business processes and system integrations
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as a U.S. citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder), Political Asylee, or Refugee.



Preferred Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Computer Science from an accredited institution
  • Experience working with Supply Chain systems
  • Experience working in a Manufacturing Environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
  • SQL Programming (SQL, T-SQL, or Oracle PL/SQL)
  • .Net, C#, or Java programming experience
  • Advanced knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and operations
  • Proficiency with database query tools (SQL Developer and/or SSMS)
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong relationship skills and ability to interact with internal and external customers, other analysts, and management
  • Solid understanding of systems analysis, design, and programming techniques
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Experienced translating business requirements into system functional requirements
