As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll be responsible for answering incoming calls/completing outbound calls to/from patients, physicians and pharmacists while ensuring a high level of customer service and maximizing productivity. This Senior Pharmacy Technician role is equally challenging and rewarding. As a senior team member, you'll help identify problems and determine solutions both independently or in a team/group setting. You'll need to work within multiple computer systems simultaneously as you respond to questions or provide specific medication details/clinical information. It's a fast paced, high volume environment where accuracy is essential.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, will be required to work an 8hr shift between the hours of 7:00 am - 7:00 pm and will be required to work rotating weekends for on-call rotation (would be on call for Saturday and Sunday and rotation would be once every 4 - 5 weeks) with overtime required based on business needs

Location: This role is onsite in Marietta, GA (Address: 425 Franklin Gateway Ste 535 Marietta, GA 30067)

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Compounding IV medication
  • Staging medication, supplies for dispensing

Required Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher) OR 3+ years of pharmacy related experience (includes retail pharmacy experience)
  • Licensed Pharmacy Technician in the state of Georgia
  • 1+ years of pharmacy related experience (includes retail pharmacy experience)
  • Ability to work an 8-hour shift, Monday - Friday between the hours of 7:00 am - 7:00 pm and will be required to work rotating weekends for on-call rotation (would be on call for Saturday and Sunday and rotation would be once every 4 - 5 weeks)


Preferred Qualifications:



  • PTCB (National Pharmacy Technician Certification)
  • 1+ years of hospital experience, IV compounding and/or oncology
  • Pharmacy / prescription data entry experience
  • Compounding experience


Physical Requirements and Work Environment:



  • Frequent speaking, listening using a headset, sitting, use of hands / fingers across keyboard or mouse, handling other objects, long periods of close vision looking at a computer monitor
  • Service center environment with moderate noise level due to Representatives talking, computers, printers, floor activity
