**Must be willing to train in Mammography and Bone Density when needed** We are searching for a Radiology Technologist to perform diversified clinical patient care, technical and related duties within assigned modality as part of an interdisciplinary care team. Assume responsibility for each assigned patient, perform patient assessments, and correlate clinical findings with exam/procedure request. Obtain pertinent information from patients' chart and document all data within the EHR. Educate patient for exam. Position patient and select appropriate imaging equipment and supplies. Identify, prepare and/or administer pharmaceuticals related to the exam/procedure. Select technical factors/ parameters/sequences to produce quality images. Properly identify anatomy and evaluate images for technical quality. Apply the principles of ALARA to minimize exposure to patient, self and others and aware of MR safety practices. Assist physicians in performing procedures. Perform Front Desk and Medical Assistant Functions. Provide functional or technical supervision of radiology aides (imaging assistants), other assigned non-technical employees and other practitioners, as applicable. Assist with ongoing quality assurance activities as assigned.
