Position title: CalBridge Executive Director Salary range:
Commensurate with qualifications and experience. The posted UCSC Salary Scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See the scale titled, Faculty - Ladder Ranks - Professor Series - Fiscal Year. "Off-scale salaries", i.e., a salary that is higher than the published system-wide salary at the designated rank and step, are offered when necessary to meet competitive conditions. A reasonable estimate of the annual salary for this position is between $110,000 - $180,000. Percent time:

Initial appointment will be for one year, with the possibility of reappointment. Should the hiring unit propose reappointment; a review to assess performance will be conducted. About CalBridge CalBridge consists of both an undergraduate and a doctoral program. The CalBridge Undergraduate Program provides intensive mentoring and professional development for third- and fourth-year CSU students and sponsors summer research opportunities at major research institutions, with the goal of achieving competitiveness with their applications to PhD programs. The CalBridge Doctoral Program focuses on professional development in the areas of research leadership and pedagogy, continued development of professional networks, and acculturation into leadership careers in academia, government and industry.
