Salary range:
The salary range for this position is $450,000-$500,000. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. Clinicians interested in pursuing an academic medicine career in the Anesthesia subspecialty of Pain Medicine will be given the opportunity to grow in a dynamic department. The Division of Pain Medicine is a nationally-awarded division for quality, safety, and research. Ample opportunities exist for scholarly effort and teaching through an ACGME approved Pain Medicine Fellowship. Candidates must be board-eligible in Anesthesiology, fellowship trained in Pain Medicine, in progress for certification by the ABA in pain management, and in good standing to acquire license to practice in the state of California. UC Irvine offers an excellent salary and benefit program. Faculty rank and compensation is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
