What you'll be doing...As a Principle Network Engineer for the Public Sector Federal Aviation Administration Enterprise Network Engineering Services (FENS) engineering team, you will be a network engineer on a multi-discipline team that will deliver and manage the technology roadmap for the FAA infrastructure architecture and Verizon OSS management infrastructure based on Verizon's solutions and services. As a Principle Network Engineer you will have the responsibility ensure that the Verizon FENS solution meets the FAA RMA requirements. You are well versed across multiple technology disciplines to include but not limited to Enterprise Solutions, MPLS, Cyber Security, Managed Services, Voice services, Cisco DMPVN, Wireless (4G and 5G), application performance, IT, Cloud, Enterprise Solutions, and more. You will work in a cross-functional and cross-organizational environment (including Third party partners) to facilitate and deliver the FENS initial and on-going infrastructure solutions for the FAA complex requirements throughout the life-cycle of the FENS program. You will be focused on the survivability and resiliency integrated architectures for the FAA FENS opportunity.
