What you'll be doing...

This is a multi-faceted role within the Verizon Value Team that enables the Prepaid business to operate smoothly. You'll put your analytical and relationship-building skills to work by managing and being the single point of contact for our three National replenishment vendors. You will also be called upon to manage projects and lead cross-functional teams from around the business in support of all Prepaid Operations. This role interacts with and supports Prepaid retailers of Verizon Prepaid airtime, such as Walmart and the Dollar stores to ensure that devices and Prepaid cards are set-up properly and function flawlessly. You will also have the opportunity to support pricing solutions and product and service launches.

  • Single point of contact for three National replenishment vendors and Prepaid payment operations
  • Managing contract maintenance and occasional amendments to be written and seen through to execution
  • Working with Accounts Payable and Finance to set up annual Purchase Orders and ensure vendors are paid on time
  • Responsible for Point-of-Sale Activation which involves coordinating efforts to launch new devices
  • Primary contact for all Prepaid outages and subsequent root cause analysis
  • Supporting National Distribution team with Prepaid products in national retailers and agent channel
  • Working with vendors and internal stakeholders on new, lower cost replenishment methods
  • Managing replenishment reporting, trend analysis and recommendations to drive growth
  • Using agile project management to launch new products and services
  • Gaining thorough understanding of IT systems, Network elements and reference data which supports Prepaid processing ***In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager. ***

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in management or marketing
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Analyzed data and shared marketing insights and recommendations, presented to audiences of different levels and functions
  • Managed complex projects with shifting priorities, demands, and stakeholders with cross-functional teams and agencies
  • Strong contract negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Leadership ability to set internal and external priorities
  • Self-motivator who consistently demonstrates positive results
  • Ability to analyze complex issues and determine appropriate course of action
  • Minimum of 3 years of wireless Telecom experience
  • Basic knowledge of Verizon back-end systems and Network elements and how they interact
  • Proven ability to manage and support multiple projects simultaneously
