Sr. LVN - MPU

Description The Licensed Vocational Nurse must be able to workwith a primary nursing model as delivery care systems and follow establishedUniversity, Hospital, and Departmental work policies, procedures andguidelines.
Salary range: $32.62-$43.04 Hourly

Qualifications * CA LVN License
* IV certification
* BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
* Knowledge of all instruments and supplies to perform physical examinations and/or procedures
* Ability to take vital signs, administer medications and obtain drug refills as needed
* Knowledge of symptomatology of common and or life threatening medical problems
* Excellent interpersonal skills in maintaining a cooperative working environment with the physicians, staff, and all health providers
* Keyboard literacy skills to access and input data in computerized logging systems
* Demonstrated ability to be punctual and maintain good attendance
* Ability to push, pull, or carry a minimum of 30 pounds or more
* More than 6 monthsexperience as an LVN in the current position or has relevant clinicalexperience
* Preferred: Experience with the Medical Procedures Unit.
