CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

Consumer Brands Group Marketing team is hiring a photo/video intern. The time frame of this opportunity is year-round.

**The ideal candidate must be available to work ~ 37.5 hours per week during the summer and ~20 hours/week during the school year**

Position Responsibilities may include, but may not be limited to:

• Concept Direction
  
  
  
  • Support creative teams in developing direction on new photo projects
  • Support building work orders and mood boards in planning stages of photo projects
  
  
  
  

• Production/Set Build
  
  
  
  • Assist in shopping for paint and props for photoshoots
  • Help to prep and paint set walls and spray paint props
  
  
  
  

• Photography
  
  
  
  • Set Styling - Help gather and style props in each set - steaming linens, arranging furniture etc.
  • Modeling - Hold the brush/roller in shots - stand-in or act as model as needed
  • Photo Assisting - On standby during photoshoots to be directed as needed. Arranging lighting and any other equipment. Operating cameras and CaptureOne software
  
  
  
  

• Post-Production
  
  
  
  • Assist with building metadata, file transfers, processing, batch conversions, etc.
  • Using CaptureOne to organize and process files during and after photo shoot.
  • Photoshop retouching
  
  
  
  
• Studio
  
  
  
  • Assist in keeping studio clean and organized
  • Help manage inventory of props, products, and equipment
  
  
  
  

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

1. FORMAL EDUCATION:
   
   
   
   • Required:
     
     
     
     • Current college student at the junior or senior level
     
     
     
     
   
   
   
   

1. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

• Required:

1. Basic photography skills, video skills an added plus
2. Command of Adobe suite, Photoshop, Bridge, CaptureOne are a must. InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects, Premier are a plus.
3. Microsoft Office software suite including PowerPoint, Word, Excel
4. Strong written and verbal skills
5. Ability to work an average of 20-24 hours per week, with a flexible schedule based around the candidate's school schedule and the opportunity to work more hours during the summer and school breaks.
6. Preferred:
   
   
   
   • Prefer a photography or graphic design student
   • Some lifting is required
   • A car will be needed for some travel to photoshoot locations and for assistance with shopping for props
