Job Description

BASIC FUNCTION:

Manage the program administrative activities and requirements for assigned inventory of Key accounts. Provide technical and sales support to the Key Account Managers, Director, and SVP National Sales, as well as a corporate resource to the VES-TS Sales Organization. Responsible for assisting or responding to questions or requests made by assigned Key Accounts with the expertise needed in disposal options, approvals, RCRA, DOT regulations and compliance, and corporate contract requirements. Serve as a resource to provide guidance and direction to the branches, sales, TSR/TAR/CSRs, and field operations staff, as well as administrative support to meet clients' contract requirements and expectations. Network and coordinate activities with Veolia overseas offices for those Key accounts with global contracts. Network with VNA divisions to assure appropriate program coordination.

The Key Accounts Technical Account Representative role is a tenured TSR/CSR position. Previous TSR/CSR or project management experience with 5 years minimum - 10 years preferred in the hazardous waste industry or related work experience preferred. High School Diploma, BS or Advanced degree highly desirable. Extensive knowledge in environmental and DOT technologies with national preferred experience. Risk and impact involves all regions of VES-TS. Must be a knowledgeable user of Micro-Soft Office and Google software. Ability to be flexible with day-to-day functions, in conjunction with required internal or external deadlines. Critical thinking ability to prioritize urgently needed requests/responses; and repercussions of decisions, and implications in the future. As Key Accounts, we need to problem solve and help achieve long-lasting solutions

Duties & Responsibilities: (Activities not explicitly covered in other sections)

Administration of multiple national contracts.

  • Assist Key Account Manager(s) with pre-qualification submittals for Key Accounts.
  • Comprehension of complex contract language per account assignment.
  • Reporting - monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual financial, waste tracking, rebate calculations, and other reports as required per contract or Key Account Manager(s), VP Key Accounts. Customization of reports may be required.
  • Assist with quotation requests that cover multiple branches, compile for submission to customer.
  • Assist with invoicing and problem and/or payment resolution as required per contract, as necessary.
  • Assist with AR Statement requests, and resolution of credits on-account.
  • Facilitating and problem solving skills for assisting with customer issue/complaint resolutions internally and externally, with Veolia and customer personnel.
  • AMS - duties include maintaining company-wide systems at the corporate level (approved facilities, HQ/Key Account customer tagging, new customer entry, review and activation, update Headquarters/Major Account information as necessary, assist branches with various AMS requests). Request credit checks for Key Account HQ accounts.
  • Work in conjunction with Project Management accounts for initial roll-outs of new Key Account.

* Maintain iShare database with corporate contract information for Key Accounts.

Price Request Database - establish and maintain with current National Pricing.

  • RPM HQ Price Books - establish and maintain contract price books as needed.
  • Working knowledge in TS@Work database. Assist/maintain AMS Territory Team Members. Assist with Sales Territory information and updates upon written request.
  • Working knowledge of Veolia CIMS website and Hubgrade Dashboard (training will be provided).
  • Assist with various day to day branch and customer requests, questions, reports, quotes, pricing issues, invoicing questions/resolutions, PE's, unapproved facilities.
  • Clarification of National Pricing for quotations at the local level as needed.
  • Network and coordinate with VES-TS offices, collect and consolidate data, periodically participate in quarterly and annual customer meetings as needed.
  • Effectively communicate corporate customer requirements and restrictions, internally and externally.
  • Assist in determining the most optimal waste management options, reviewing customer preference, technology, cost and facility approval with field personnel as requested.
  • Administration of FedEx account, includes FedEx Ground and FedEx Express. Distribution of requests to branches, and follow-ups until a scheduled date is confirmed. Some invoice resolution, problem solving, and reporting requests are required from time to time.
