Job Description

PRIMARY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reporting to the EVP-Zone CTO
  • Supporting the operations optimization of numerous key projects, and supporting the follow up and the monitoring of the major project in execution.
  • Support and potentially drive complex, challenging EPC structures, and deep understanding of EPC, PPA, O&M
  • Develop and implement a global process to streamline and support the preparation of large-scale projects development
  • Assist the Business Developer (BD) in developing the best economic and execution solution adapted to the needs of the end customer.
  • Coordinate all project strategy and risk assessment and be responsible for risk mitigation proposals
  • Support projects under development, whether M&A or bids, in optimizing the execution and optimizing adequately the industrial set-up.
  • co-Chair project development reviews and temporarily some of the project execution reviews.
  • Ensure that the solution developed will address all aspects related to safety, quality, risk management.
  • Ensure that the assigned actions for each project are properly implemented and tracked.
  • Build and directly manage an efficient and project oriented PMO team

Qualifications

Education / Experience / Background

  • Proven working experience in construction management of large and complex projects ($50MM plus)
  • Experience with Project Management Office (PMO)
  • BS degree engineering or related field
  • MBA from accredited business school (Preferred)

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

  • You present strong project management experience in an international context
  • You have good knowledge of EPC Contractor, key suppliers activities and projects contracting scheme under various partnership (development, construction, financing)
  • You have experience in project economics and asset management methods, as well as relevant industry standards
  • Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods; and understanding of all facets of the construction process
  • Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
  • Knowledge in legal, contractual, and commercial terms related to construction activities
  • You are fluent in English and competent verbal and written communication skills
  • Competent in conflict and crisis management
  • Leadership and human resources management skills
  • Excellent time and project management skills
  • Excellent financial acumen

Required Certification / Licenses / Training

  • Project Management Certification (preferred)
