Job Description

Grow and manage a portfolio of energy & facilities management offers and services for the commercial and MUSH segments of Veolia North America's Facilities and Building Services division and ensure a continuous understanding of market requirements to generate new opportunities for the sales and business development teams. This is a strategic marketing role where the individual will be accountable for offer segmentation, positioning andgo-to-market strategies, and definition of go-to-lead tactics and objectives.

PRIMARY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

The Sr. Marketing Manager, Building Energy Services is primary responsibility is to manage the segmentation of the P&Ls building energy services offers and define and implement strategies and tactics that put the sales teams in the best position to win market share:

  1. Define the potential and addressable market for each offer, document marketing requirements and buyer personas, updating competitor intelligence and co-developing winning go-to-market strategies and go-to-lead campaigns

  2. Act as the primary thought leader across our portfolio of offers including but not limited to maintaining / updating the sales toolkits (case studies, presentations, etc.), participating in events and speaking engagements, and identifying relevant strategic partnerships

  3. Work collaboratively with P&L sales team members and provide support where needed

  4. Defining marketing plan and objectives for offers and campaigns (webinars, lunch and learns, white papers, case studies, e-books, presentations etc.) and working with the business unit Lead Generation specialist to ensure execution

  5. Creative strategy and project management of thought leadership and content marketing campaigns

  6. Lead engagements with third party partners supporting strategic analyses, market research and subscriptions

  7. Strategy and go-to-market of new offers and project manage implementation.with cross-functional stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field; MBA a plus
  • Progressive commercial and strategic marketing, product marketing and related roles in B2B energy and/or facilities management services (e.g. Energy Performance Contracting, Smart Buildings, Energy Management, Distributed Energy, Commissioning, Building Operations & Maintenance)

  • Knowledge and passion for commercial buildings and MUSH (municipal, utility, schools, hospitals)market segments

  • Subject matter expertise in ESCO, smart buildings, energy management, commissioning, and Energy as a Service market trends

  • Self starter and strong team player; resourceful and willing to test new ideas; strong bias for action and comfortable cross-functionally managing and executing a portfolio of initiatives

  • Capable of taking an idea and developing it into a compelling offer

  • Comfortable reaching out to strategic partners and stakeholders to identify collaboration opportunities
