Lead Data Analyst

Role Summary

Veolia Water Technologies and Solutions team develops prescriptive, descriptive, and predictive analytics for various applications in process and water domain. The analytics are developed in Python by experienced technologists to analyze data and develop multiple

design schemes. The analytics are connected to user interface (UI) for communication of data. The Data Analyst determines best practices and develops better insights and recommendations for the current business operations or issues.

Candidate will perform advanced business analysis with the help of several techniques, e.g., statistical analysis, explanatory and predictive modeling, data mining and based on defined scope of work using latest technologies such as AWS Cloud, SQL, Tableau, Python etc. The candidate will work or partner with other developers to establish prioritized deliverables and timelines for developments and roadmap. The candidate will be responsible for software development life cycle.

Essential Responsibilities / Expectations

• Strong experience and understanding on designing and architecture of data analytics
• Knowledge of AWS Databases and Data Warehouse solutions.
• Design & build business solutions within AWS
• Integrate front-end components into applications
• Designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems or web services
• Collaborate with other application developers, business analysts and end users to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain web, mobile, and desktop-based business applications
• Write, translate, and code software programs and integrations between applications according to specifications
• Recommend, schedule, and perform software and integrations improvements and upgrades
• Assist with Tableau dashboard development
• Prepare technical documentation

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/EC/IT or MCA or Computer Science
• 5-8 work experience (IT, Software)

Key Skills required

• Experienced working in Agile Scrum Software Development
• Strong experience and understanding on designing and architecture of data analytics
• Good knowledge on AWS Serverless framework with working experience on serverless architecture
• Knowledge of AWS Data services like Redshift, S3, Glue, Athena, EMR and RDS
• Experience deploying Machine Learning models using Python
