Systems Administrator

The Challenge:

Your combination of people skills and technical expertise makes you the team hero, solving one problem after another. What if you could use those skills to improve the technology supporting U.S. Army Offensive Cyber projects? We're looking for a systems administrator with experience supporting secure programs and projects.

As a systems administrator on our project, you'll support the development and fielding of Offensive Cyber software projects. You'll provide your customers insight into their network through monitoring and performance management. Your technical expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission critical network. You'll help your team better understand the network by turning metrics into information and explaining their meaning. This is an opportunity to broaden your skillset into areas like the latest Offensive Cyber tools, techniques, and technologies. We focus on growing as a team, so you'll share your expertise through leadership and mentoring as you help the team work through challenges and develop new methodologies. As a technical leader, you'll identify new opportunities to modernize the network to help your customers meet their needs. Join our team and solve daily challenges as we improve the state of the art in Offensive Cyber platforms. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.

You Have:

  • Experience with administering Windows and Linux devices for secure operation

  • Experience with participating in peer reviews, test events, and evaluations of new and existing hardware and software products

  • Knowledge of system development life cycle operations

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with DoD software development and risk management framework

  • Knowledge of software design principles, code metrics, and quality frameworks

  • Ability to work as part of a team including work the deliverables pipeline

  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements. The proposed salary range for this position is outlined below.

Colorado: $81,200 - $167,400 (annualized USD)

New York (including New York City): $85,700 - $200,900 (annualized USD)
