The Prince William Manassas Regional Adult Detention Center (ADC) is currently looking for career-minded

The ADC is a well established agency in Prince William County, VA. We provide a safe and secure environment for the staff and inmates while protecting the residents of Prince William County.
Additionally, this position involves direct contact with incarcerated inmates.

Customer service principles; Mental Health principles and practices; Medical terminology; Nursing principles and practices; Medication protocols; Modern office procedures and equipment; Recordkeeping principles; Computers and related software applications.
SKILLS:
Providing exemplary customer service; Providing healthcare service; Performing medical testing; Preparing and maintaining patient records and information; Using computers and related software applications; Assisting with physical therapy; Preparing surgical dressings; Performing data entry; Communication, interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, the general public, etc. Sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction. Know customer services principles, mental health principles and practices, medical terminology, nursing principles and practices, medication protocols, modern office procedures and equipment, recordkeeping principles and computers/related software applications.
SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS
10 hour night shift
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRMENTS:
High school diploma or G.E.D. plus a degree or diploma from a state approved professional nursing program and 1 year of related experience.
SALARY:
$69, 186.00 Annually
$5,000 Sign On Bonus
FLSA: EXEMPT

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Registered Nurse License: CPR/First Aid Certification. Must pass local, state, and federal background checks and have a valid driver's license.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Positions in this class typically require: climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, puling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
Very Heavy Work: Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
