Medical Bio Research Associate III: Abb Vie Inc. in Orange Co, CA seeks qual. Bio Research Assoc. III. Responsible for developing & executing in vivo models a/w/a performing a range of cell & tissue-based in-vitro assays to support the development & differentiation of implantable biomaterials. Master's or foreign academic equivalent in Bio, Bio Engineering, Chem or a closely related field of study with minimum 1 year experience in: (i) employing techniques including intradermal & subcutaneous injection in small animals & 3D imaging, utilizing proficiency in vivo animal handling/care & performing post-mortem tissue dissection; (ii) using various histology techniques to examine cell/tissue response s/a immunochem, confocal & fluorescence microscopy; (iii) executing in vitro studies a/w/a common practices in cell & molecular bio, s/a cell culture, PCR, and ELISA; & (iv) applying working knowledge of common lab techniques s/a reagent/media prep, autoclave & sterile procedures, data collection in BSL 2 environment. An EOE. 40 hours/week.
