Cybersecurity Analyst, Senior

Key Role:
Leverage subject matter expertise in various Cybersecurity areas, including Department of Defense (DoD) Risk Management Framework (RMF) guidance, Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E), system vulnerability, and compliance in support of Assessment and Authorization (A&A) throughout the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Support system A&A efforts through cyber risk assessment, policy analysis, technology evaluations, and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) security control validation. Apply expertise in technology to analyze system security implementations, application security, and provide recommendations to decision makers and engineers. Support the research of emerging technology, requisite security requirements, and emerging threats and develop a way forward to meet organizational goals. Consult headquarters-level decision makers on the technical implementation of solutions for promoting the sustainment of cybersecurity across multiple technology areas. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with providing cybersecurity, engineering, or operational support, including supporting information assurance, network engineering, or systems administration
  • Experience with evaluating compliance of a system against current RMF and DoD Cybersecurity policies
  • Knowledge of Cybersecurity standards and the implementation of industry best practices
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to obtain an 8570 Certification Compliance, including CompTIA Security+ or ISC(2) CISSP within 6 months of hire

Additional Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with DoD A&A processes and Cybersecurity engineering
  • Experience in working with the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS)
  • Experience with a defense agency's Security Technical Integration Guides (STIG)
  • Ability to clearly convey results in formal technical reports and deliver briefings to senior client staff
  • Top Secret clearance
  • CompTIA Security+ CE, CSSLP, or CISSP Certification
