Military Strategic Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Analyze, review, coordinate, refine, and test Air Force, multi-service, Joint, Interagency, and multi-national concepts. Perform a broad range of highly complex quantitative and qualitative analysis on national and defense strategies and future operating environment challenges and capabilities to develop hypotheses on solving operational and institutional military problems through doctrine, organizational, training, material, leadership, policy, and facility changes. Articulate the hypotheses in a concept narrative with the necessary level of detail to inform changes in Air Force systems, personnel, and infrastructure. Analyze the development of a program of action and milestones to guide the concept development process from initiation through senior leader approval. Coordinate and incorporate inputs from across the US government enterprise to refine, adjust, or invalidate hypotheses. Develop sub-elements or attributes of hypotheses to enable analysis, wargames, and modeling and simulation. Communicate concept development progress with organizational leadership routinely in executive-level verbal and written communication. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in analysis roles

  • Experience with quantitative and qualitative analysis in defense strategy

  • Knowledge of U.S. Military and USAF

  • Ability to work independently in a large organization

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree
