Summary:
Assist with Respiratory Therapy needs for non-critically ill patients in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities:
1. Administers standard Respiratory Care including but not limited to, aerosol medication delivery, basic bedside pulmonary function testing, breathing exercises, oxygen therapy, and arterial punctures.
2. Provides for all aspects of airway management including aspiration of established airways, tracheostomy care, and extubations.
3. Records completely all pertinent information pertaining to patient care procedures per hospital and departmental policies.
4. Records patient information in electronic medical record system.

Education Requirements:
* Completion of first year of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
* Requires Provisional Respiratory Therapy License.

* None Required.
