As a systems engineer on our team, you have the chance to provide technical expertise in lab-based and analytical R&D efforts to enhance security and interoperability in support of the DoD. Your technical expertise will be vital as you evaluate and modernize Army Systems. You'll develop your skills in Information Security while gaining experience in new security topics and technologies . You Have: -5+ years of experience with Cybersecurity or communications security (COMSEC) -Experience with Cryptographic encryption and decryption processes and secure design best practices -Experience with networking standards and protocols and network diagram designs -Experience with Microsoft, Linux, and Android configuration -Ability to conduct network and device troubleshooting -Ability to be a motivated self-starter to learn quickly and spend personal time researching new security topics and products -Ability to work productively with a team and support client meetings and deliverables -Ability to travel to client sites up to 20% of the time within CONUS -Secret Clearance -Bachelor's degree Nice If You Have: -Experience with Public and Private Key Management principles and techniques -Experience with network and security equipment configuration, including Cisco, Juniper, and Aruba in field or lab environments -Experience in working with a national agency's evaluation requirements and processes -Experience with DoD or Army Cybersecurity policies and strategies -Experience with implementing NIST and DoD STIG security requirements -Experience with collaborating with Army and national security program offices and organizations -Experience with code development using IEEE or CMMI best practices -Experience with security evaluation or vulnerability testing -CISSP, Security+, ICND, CCNA, MCP, MCSE, or CEH Certification preferred Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret Clearance Required.
