Position Summary
The MSU Denver Patton Scholars Program provides currently enrolled students the opportunity to work on campus and gain valuable experience in the Department of Biology or the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry. A teaching assistant can improve their teaching/mentoring skills and learn complex concepts in their specific subject area.

This position requires prior acceptance into the Patton Scholars Program Scholarship. #LI- DNI
Duties/Responsibilities
Patton Scholarship teaching assistants will assist students as a teaching, learning, or instructional assignment in assigned course(s). The teaching assistants answer questions about the course material and help guide students to understand. TAs may host exam review sessions or other supplemental recitation time.
Required Qualifications
Prior acceptance into the Patton Scholars Program Scholarship.

Benefits
MSU Denver offers temporary, non-benefit eligible employees sick leave. The sick leave is accrued at a rate of 1 hour for every 30 hours worked, not to exceed a maximum of 48 hours in a calendar year.
