Software Developer, Senior

The Challenge:

Are you looking for an opportunity to not just develop software, but to build a system that will solve critical client challenges? As a full-stack developer, you can solve a problem with a complete end-to-end solution in a fast-paced, Agile environment. We're looking for a developer with an appetite to learn and the skills needed to build enterprise systems from vision to production-ready system. This role is more than just coding. We need a full-stack developer who will use their passion to learn new tools and techniques and identify and implement system improvements. On our team, you'll help customers overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches like microservices and containerized applications. Using Agile methodologies, you'll work with the development team to build enterprise systems. You'll help make sure the solution you're developing considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

You'll be able to sharpen your skills in computer programming and scripting languages while developing critical systems for the Air Force. As a software developer, you'll identify new opportunities to build cloud-based solutions to help our client meet their evolving needs. You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience within a professional working software developmentenvironment

  • 5 years of experience with front-end web programming languages, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AngularJS

  • 5 years of experience with one or more back-end programming languages, including PHP, Java, jQuery, C#

  • 3 years of experience with Python

  • Experience with microservices, APIs, modern DevSecOps tools and testing frameworks

  • Experience with common web development tools and services, including version control software, package managers, and CI/CD pipelines

  • Experience with version control systems, including Git

  • Experience with Docker

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • HS Diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with Gitlab

  • Experience with JavaScript

  • Knowledge of the software development life cycle and Agile fundamentals

  • Knowledge of common programming design patterns and best practices

  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Possession of excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM)

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
