Position Overview

Mechanical Engineer will support Product Development, Production and Continuous Improvement in the Broken Arrow Plant.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assess/audit manufacturing processes to identify improvements or gaps to address.
  • Design and develop tooling and fixtures to support production.
  • Develop Tooling standardization and setup tooling program.
  • Work with Lean and Operations to execute improvements or Projects.
  • Develop process improvements and establish standard work.
  • Write work instructions and setup instructions for equipment.
  • Assist in the implementation of Capital equipment.
  • Work with maintenance to minimize unplanned downtime.
  • Collaborate with product management to release new parts to production.
  • Conduct validations on new process or new equipment.
  • Work with outside vendors to find new products or processes to improve production output.

Skills and Experience

  • Mechanically Inclined.
  • 1 to 3 yrs experience.
  • Hands on experience in manufacturing environment.
  • Basic Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes (i.e. Welding, Machining, Forming, and Coating).
  • Good trouble shooting and critical thinking.
  • Ability to work well in team environment.
  • Clear and direct writing and communication.
  • Basic Project management and Project Prioritization.
  • Solidworks/AutoCad Experience.
  • MS Office proficient-Excel.

Education
Bachelors Degree in Engineering General or Mechanical Engineering
