KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Development (Appian) to join our National Audit Technology organization. This is a remote work opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with industry/business subject area professionals, software engineers and technical leadership as part of a dynamic, distributed and fast paced project team to design and build elegant, high-impact business applications
  • Facilitate client discovery sessions to define requirements and translate business needs to functional specifications and user stories
  • Lead the build, test and delivery of defect resolutions, enhancements and small project solutions using Appian technologies
  • Manage the delivery of Appian applications while working with external and internal suppliers to be the key person to remove impediments
  • Work with with the business stakeholders and project manager to ensure successful delivery of Appian projects; Collaborate with diverse onshore/offshore teammates on the software development process and agile methodologies
  • Lead presentations of key automation concepts and demonstrations to client stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years of recent relevant professional experience in system implementations along with basic understanding of key concepts related to Software Development Life Cycle, Information Security and Digital Transformation adoption
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Systems, Information Management or other quantitative discipline with specialization from an accredited college or university
  • Expertise in development of Appian solutions in a cloud environment; expert level knowledge of relational database modeling techniques; Appian Lead Developer certification preferred; ability to create Appian solutions using SAIL, relational databases, REST API
  • Ability to design enterprise applications that are scalable and resilient; Ability to analyze, debug, and support multiple applications in the portfolio
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience interacting with clients at multiple levels, ability to demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills
