KPMG is currently seeking an Associate to join our Advisory Data Organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Work on cross functional team to deliver reusable Data Science assets to Advisory teams for client solutions
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines that combine data from multiple sources, runs a model and delivers data to a location for use by other applications
  • Perform code reviews of programs/applications submitted by other members of the Signals Repository team
  • Manages the ingestion, onboarding and maintenance of data assets and reusable data-driven solutions within the Signals Repository to enable our client-facing professionals with Data Science accelerators for enhanced client delivery
  • Design and develop new functionality for the Signals Repository platform
  • Conduct data design, API design and application component architecture

Qualifications:

  • Minimum two years of recent experience developing data pipelines using Python; minimum two years of experience in developing RESTful API's using Python frameworks such at Django/Flask/FastAPI; minimum one year of experience working w/ cloud environments such as AWS, Azure and/or GCP; minimum two years of experience working with Unix/Linux systems including basic commands and shell scripting
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college/university in Computer Science, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, Statistics or a similar field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong programming experience using Python
  • Experience using Git; experience with frontend JavaScript frameworks such as React/Angular/Vue is a plus
  • Ability to travel up to 10% as required to support firm engagements
