Director, Federal Technology Architecture (Microsoft)

KPMG is currently seeking a Director to join our Federal Advisory practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Account, Service Network, and Microsoft ATU teams to create and align the solution strategy to industry needs
  • Identify strategic solution opportunities, develop the design concept and associated business case for investment, and provide product leadership to develop associated IP and sales enablement assets
  • Monitor pipeline health, industry demand signals, and technology trends to drive business growth and adoption / evolution of solutions to deliver on ROI
  • Support system design efforts using GTM solutions and evaluate projects from a technical stance, helping to ensure successful implementation of solutions and overall customer success
  • Work with delivery teams to identify opportunities for additional asset development and to develop associated customer stories and qualifications
  • Define and document standards, frameworks and reference architectures
  • Evaluate technologies and relevant fit in established and / or new design patterns
  • Develop and showcase Prototypes / Proof of Concepts to enable client-specific and / or go-to market solutions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with senior management at U.S. Federal government agencies

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of eight years of Information Technology Architecture experience; U.S. Federal government consulting experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
  • Experience in process reengineering, designing / implementing business performance management applications, including budgeting, forecasting, planning, consolidation, and reporting
  • Ability to elicit and document functional and technical requirements to support digital transformation / modernization initiatives
  • Experience leading technical consulting pre-sales engagements involving highly distributed hybrid and multi-cloud solutions in a client facing role
  • Experience leading the development and implementation of FTM plans to support U.S. Federal Government clients leveraging Microsoft solutions
  • Experience leading the development of strategies for on-perm to cloud migrations and associated application rationalization assessments and roadmaps
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Federal government security clearance within a reasonable period of time, which requires U.S.citizenship
