KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Monitoring to join our Global Independence Group which is a part of KPMG International.

Responsibilities:

  • Support GIG monitoring activities through assisting member firms in their implementation of the revised disciplinary policy and assisting with "deep dives" into the conduct of member firm compliance audit programs
  • Help with Global Quality & Compliance Review (GQ&CR) activities through conducting desktop reviews of specified independence policies and procedures in advance of a member firm GQ&CR
  • Review independence comments resulting from GQ&CR reviews and assisting with the creation and maintenance of a central GIG database collating various independence comments from GQ&CR reviews
  • Assist the Global Monitoring Team through reviewing and analyzing member firm compliance audit results reported to the Global Monitoring Team and participating in the development of resulting recommendations and action items
  • Perform ad hoc projects to enhance KPMG's independence policies, procedures and guidance, including assisting in the development of new guidance and tools

Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years of recent experience working independently and with team members while handling competing priorities
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or similar type of accreditation
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite- Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to read, understand and apply complex rule and regulation, including related guidance
  • Organizational skills with keen attention to details and documentation standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
